Beijing Olympics: Gold Medal Musician

If a Gold Medal could be awarded to an Olympic Musician, John Comerford would possess one. All of you that partied during the Seoul Olympics in '88 will remember him by his stage name, Arthur Hale. Back then, he and his band, The Hale Raisers, were the pinnacle of entertainment at JJ Mahoney's in the Hyatt Hotel. They rocked the Olympic games every evening.

John still resides in Asia, currently Tokyo, and is making better music than ever. He is one of the best boogie-woogie pianists and guitar artists in Asia. No one can forget his unique vocal style and wide range of instrument talent.

The hottest performing arts question being asked around China now is, "Will John Comerford rock the Beijing Olympics?"

It is uncertain that the Chinese can dislodge him from his cushy Japanese roost. From those that demand their night life to be unforgettable, the hopeful answer is yes.
