Sunbeam Preschool, located in the lower level of the Education wing of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, is governed by the Board of Education. At present, Sunbeam is administered by a director-teacher. Each class is staffed by a certified classroom teacher and an assistant.

Sunbeam Preschool is licensed by the Iowa Department of Social Services, and is a Christian and public service to the community. Children enrolled in Sunbeam Preschool receive preparation for public or parochial school attendance and motivation to develop a Christian attitude in school and at home. The students are taught beginning emotional, physical, and social skills for life.

Enrollment is open to children who have reached the age of three before September 15th. Tuition is charged on an annual basis (paid monthly) to cover the cost of the program. Tuition scholarships are available for families based on their particular needs.
